Reach regulation
According to REACH provisions, the producers or importers from non-EU countries of substances in the quantity of 1 tonne or more per year, have to "register" them and submit to the European Chemical Agency.
A previsional period of registration of substances will be allowed in any case according to volumes produced or imported and to established specifications of danger of the same substances.
In order to benefit of the above mentioned provisionary terms, substances will have to be pre-registered within a term between
1st June 2008 and 1st December 2008.
COLORPRINT has promptly taken steps to further investigate the different aspects of the new regulation and, in particular, those concerning the pre-registration and registration steps of the substances; nevertheless
COLORPRINT does not produce nor imports chemical substances but produces and markets exclusively preparations pursuant to REACH regulation and, therefore,
is not due to pre-registration of any kind of the same substances.
Concerning the substances we purchase within the European Union and use for our products, we are currently making sure that our suppliers provide a pre-registration of the substances.
