Characteristics
Pigment-based flexographic inks with glossy and bright effect.
Versions
The PROPAFLEX series includes:
- PROPAFLEX basic series
- PROPAFLEX/AC specific inks for lamination
- PROPAFLEX/RFS slow drying inks suitable for machines with central drum and high resolution inking rolls (>180 lines/cm) and/or for low speed printing (30-40 m/min). See specific technical data sheet.
- PROPAFLEX/LAT specific inks for printing on treated polyethylene used for food packaging. No direct food contact. See specific technical data sheet.
Fields of application Suitable for printing on polyethylene, polypropylene and polyester film with a good level of treatment; and polyamides, for external printing.
Ink properties - High thermoresistance (thermosealable)
- No Blocking
- Good brightness
- Very good adhesion (incl. promoter) on polypropylene
- Good adhesion on polyethylene and on polyester
- Good water resistance*
* Water resistance means the resistance to crumpling of the substrate in water at room temperature.
Given the wide variety of polyamide, polyolephin and polyester films available we suggest performing an adhesion test prior to use.
