When requirements are complex, identifying a product that fully meets all needs can be challenging due to the numerous factors involved.
In some cases, it is impossible to find a market-ready product that satisfies every technical specification.
Furthermore, defining the correct printing product requires specific expertise and experience in the world of printing and color management. In these instances, Colorprint is able to develop a custom formulation based on the customer’s specific requirements. Through a structured process, the optimal formulation is defined. Should a reprint with the same characteristics be required, Colorprint can quickly provide a new supply of printing ink by utilizing the original production recipe.
By completing a standardized form, the customer is guided in specifying all factors that influence the correct ink formulation, including the type of substrate, the intended application, and the necessary resistance properties.
2) Color Definition
The color to be reproduced can be defined through a Pantone® reference or directly via a physical sample.
Physical samples are essential as a benchmark for the final desired result. Furthermore, providing samples of the actual printing substrate is mandatory for conducting accurate print tests.
In the Colorprint laboratory, the formulation is developed and subjected to technical testing to verify both colorimetric accuracy and the required resistance levels.
A sample of the formulation is sent to the customer for testing within their own printing cycle to verify compliance with the initial specifications.
Should the initial samples require further refinement, the customer may request a revision of the formulation
Once the formulation is approved, we proceed with the production of the required quantity and subsequent delivery. For any future reprints, the exact same formulation can be reproduced.
Our operational methodology allows us to satisfy the most diverse and demanding requirements.
