Characteristics and Applications

Vegetable starch, recommended to facilitate high-pile printing on paper and cardboard.
Used in the spray powder units of the printing press.
Use minimal amounts on prints that require subsequent varnishing.
Particle size: max 12–15 µm.

K 212/2 ANTI-SET-OFF PASTE

Characteristics and Applications

Vegetable-based anti-set-off paste.
Reduces potential set-off phenomena, facilitating high-pile printing.
The effect is lower than that of anti-set-off powder.
Add 2–3% maximum to the ink in the fountain.
Higher quantities can cause buildup on the distribution rollers.
Active particle size: max 7 µm.
