Propaflex

High heat-resistance inks for printing on polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester

Features

Pigmented flexographic inks with gloss and brilliant effect.

Available Versions

The PROPAFLEX series includes:

  • PROPAFLEX: Base series.
  • PROPAFLEX/AC: Specific inks for the lamination process.
  • PROPAFLEX/RFS: Retarded inks suitable for use on central cylinder (CI) presses with high-resolution inking rollers (>180 lines/cm) and/or low-speed printing (30–40 m/min).
  • PROPAFLEX/LAT: Specific inks for printing on plastic materials and objects intended for food packaging, provided that the print is never in direct contact with food.

Application Areas

Suitable for printing on polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester films with a good treatment level; and on polyamide films for surface printing applications.

Properties

  • High thermal resistance (heat-sealing)
  • No blocking
  • Good brilliance
  • Excellent adhesion (pre-catalyzed) on polypropylene
  • Good adhesion on polyethylene and polyester
  • Good water resistance*

    * Water resistance refers to the crinkle resistance of the substrate in water at room temperature.Given the variety of polyamide, polyolefin, and polyester films, we suggest verifying the ink's adhesion to the substrate.
